Not sure what to say?

I am Bette Ruth Simmons son. As sad as I feel about losing my mother, she was and is one of the strongest Christian I've ever known. She lived the life of a Christian in every facet of her life and planned her trip to heaven. As much as I miss her, I'm glad to know where she is and I will be united with her again. I wasnt easy for her to deal with and was probably her greatest test in life. Ultimately, she trusted God to watch over me and He has. No one is promised tomorrow so prepare...

I am so very sorry for your loss. Times like this can seem endless but know that God and time will heal your wounds. You will heal but you will never forget your Mother, Grandmother or Wife. If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to call.

Mrs. Simmons was my machine shorthand teacher at Phoenix College back in the late 1970's. I was saddened to read of her passing.

BetteRuth was a friend and inspiring member of our Alpha Delta chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma society. She will be missed by all of us.

For the Family; You are in our prayers. In this time of bereavement may God strentghen you. As always if you need a ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on, or a hand to help wipe your tears you have my number. Remember, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

BetteRuth was a blessing to me and I thank God that I had the privilege of knowing her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Mrs. Simmons was my shorthand instructor at PC. I remember her speaking about her copper collection and I have amassed quite the collection in my kitchen. I also remember her allowing me to dictate to the class so they would have a different dictation style. I can still read and write shorthand (although I don't use it much) to this day.

Bette Ruth was a true professional when we worked together at Phoenix College. What a role model she was in every way. God bless the family.

I was in the '95 Golden Gift Leadership Seminar with Betty Ruth. She was such a lovely, Christian lady. I feel lucky to have known her and to have had the opportunity to hear her speak. I know she will be missed, but we can see her again. Donna Talley, OK
