Betty J. Davis

Betty J. Davis, age 93, of Rochester Hills, formerly of Auburn Hills, passed away October 15, 2021. Mother of Linda Sanders (David), Roger (Betsy), Larry (Suzanne), and Robert (Suzanne) Davis. Grandmother of Laura (Michael) Plautz, Kim (Lee) Seymour, Kristina (Michael) Sova, Benjamin (Shannyn), Amanda (Emily) Crose, Lisa (Christopher) Jarrell, Shelley (Chester Jr.) Bartle. Great grandmother of twelve and great-great grandmother of three. Predeceased by her husband Donald; parents Ernest and Ruby Howell; sisters Evelyn Farrar, Dorothy Stocky, and Ruth Davis. Betty was born in Auburn Heights, Michigan, graduated from Auburn Heights High School, married in Auburn Heights, and resided in Auburn Heights (now Auburn Hills) until her move to American House in Rochester Hills in 2017. Betty was a longtime member of the Auburn Hills Presbyterian Church. For many years she was a school bus driver for Avondale Schools. She was a quasi-granddaughter of Vern and Fern Patch (Children Milton and Marion) of Birmingham and Hubbard Lake Michigan. Visitation for Betty will be held Friday October 22, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday October 23 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with the funeral service starting at 11:30 a.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 3530 Auburn road in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Interment will be private at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
