Betty June Gibson

Queen,
You were my confidant, my financial advisor, my friend. I have no regrets in not being able to see or talk to you in your last days. I know you knew that we loved you even if we didn't see each other. I owe you so much for helping and guiding me. I will always carry you in my heart.

I also worked with Betty (aka 'Queen' by a few co-workers) at the Girl Scouts. When she retired, I missed her 'tell it like it is' attitude and her regal spirit and nature. Queen has gone home to be with our Lord. I'll never forget you. God's Blessings to your family.

Our thoughts are with the family during this time of great sadness.

To my wonderful Godsister, Kathy Gibson. Remember that God has not forsaken you at this time of sorrow. You loved your grandmother but the Lord loved her more. Cry when you need to cry, laugh when you need to laugh. Remember the good times and cherish her in your heart forever more.

I worked with Betty for many years at Girl Scouts.One of the many things I loved about her was that she said what she meant and meant what she said. I will always remember you Betty. My sympathy to all of your family and friends.Rest in peace . Vere Bashir
