Not sure what to say?

I gathered with Betty and her friend Kim for prayer at Betty´s home in Genoa, Illinois. I treasure that memory. Betty was a wonderful person.

I am so thankful to the Lord for sending Betty into my life. We were both members at Trinity Lutheran Church. Betty was a powerful and blessed prayer warrior and sister in Christ. She lived her faith every day and shared it freely. She blessed so many people and encouraged them in their faith walk. God´s peace and love be with all of her family and friends.

Betty is a wonderful Saint of God now resting in the arms of Jesus. I will always cherish her memory and the leadership and witness she gave to me. I look forward to seeing her again!
May God wrap His arms of love around the Hawkins clan as you mourn.

What a precious gift Betty was to everyone who knew her. She freely shared the love of Jesus and was so gentle and kind and such a good listener. I'll always remember her beautiful smile and tender and sweet spirit. I'm praying for God to comfort her family as they prepare to celebrate her life and the beautiful lady she was.

Thank you Lord for giving us Betty and for holding the family close in the coming days. I'm sure there is quite the celebration in heaven and surely Betty is...

As we grew as friends, sharing our life stories, she also shared with me her love for the Lord. She taught me so much about God and his Son Jesus Christ. Because of her, I have a closer walk with God. Thank you, Betty!
So, when the Lord calls me home, I know I will be seeing Betty waiting for me at the...

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Joy and family. I worked with Joy a while back at DeKalb County and she would often talk fondly about her mom.

I first met Betty at Trinity Lutheran Church, while attending the Bible study prior to Sunday service. That morning after the Bible study, Betty approached me and asked if she could pray over me, and as I was preparing to travel to Daytona's to do motorcycle ministry. I excepted most readily, and she proceeded to ask me if she could lay hands on me, and if I would come into the classroom once again. There began our friendship. On my travels on the way to Daytona, I would often look for her...
