Betty was the best.

There are so few people you meet in life who walk the walk like Betty. She was one of the smartest, kindest and most Godly women I have been blessed to know. When I had the pleasure of being with her, it was a very good day, indeed.

I remember Mrs. King as my Sunday School teacher at HPBC. She was inspiring and unwavering in her faith and used her voice and talents to teach us. God bless her and I'm thankful for her witness.

Betty was such a force for good in this world. She was my inspiration, an incredible role model of what a woman of faith courage and intelligence looked like. I loved Betty King and have a very special memory to share about she and Dave Sr. When I was newly single I moved 'back home' from California to be closer to family... but my parents were doing a tour of duty for Ford Motor Co. in Australia. I was raising my very young son all alone and Betty and Dave pulled me into their family as if I was their own daughter, and Fletcher their own grandson.
