I remember Mrs. King as my Sunday School teacher at HPBC. She was inspiring and unwavering in her faith and used her voice and talents to teach us. God bless her and I'm thankful for her witness.

Betty was such a force for good in this world. She was my inspiration, an incredible role model of what a woman of faith courage and intelligence looked like. Betty was a straight shooter, she told it like it is ; how refreshing that was in a world of double talk, hypocrisy and disception. She was very bold in her faith and took EVERY opportunity to share her love of Jesus with others and point them toward eternity. We did life together and shared challenges and adventures; I so appreciated her transparency as she shared her timeless wisdom. She prayed with me , and for me and my boys and was generous with her time. Her words resonate with me often, all of those Bettyisms that endeared me to her. Betty, I will carry you forever in my heart , thank you for all that you have done . You have finished well good and faithful servant !❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I loved Betty King and have a very special memory to share about she and Dave Sr. When I was newly single I moved 'back home' from California to be closer to family... but my parents were doing a tour of duty for Ford Motor Co. in Australia. I was raising my very young son all alone and Betty and Dave pulled me into their family as if I was their own daughter, and Fletcher their own grandson. I'm so grateful for their love, support and affection during a tough transition. Betty always had a verse, a joke or a hug ready whenever I needed it. I'm happy Betty is with her Lord and her two Daves, but she will sure be missed by the many, many people she touched, including me.
