Betty Schoof Obituary

Schoof, Betty L. (nee Albano)

August 11, 1932 - April 28, 2024

Passed away peacefully at age 91. Betty was born in Fredonia, NY, attended Fredonia High School, and went on to attend Purdue University. Upon returning to Fredonia, she worked at the family owned Park Pharmacy. She later was employed by Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY as an x-ray technician. Betty eventually moved to Buffalo and was employed by J.H. Williams for a number of years before leaving to raise a family. Betty leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Carl, her two sons, Christopher and Patrick, and grandson, Berkeley, along with nieces and nephews. Betty is predeceased by her parents, Pasquale and Cosma Albano, as well as her siblings, Richard and Irene. Services private. Online condolences may be offered at www.denglerrobertspernafuneral.com.

Carl, We are sorry for your loss..We just came across her obituary on line as I'm in Fl. We have fond memories of Betty when I had my dental practice; someone we always looked forward to seeing.

As I'm Louise Albano's granddaughter and Cosma was my Dad, Vince Barone's. aunt, I remember Betty when she was Betty Lou, and she and her sibs would be present at various mid-1950s family events, usually in Buffalo. Her warm sense of humor and sparkle are what I remember best, and fondly.
