Betty Williamson Obituary
Earlier in life, she graduated from Trinidad high school in Trinidad, Colorado and went on to earn a degree in Spanish from USC.
She married Lou Williamson in Trinidad on June 17, 1951. She later got certified as an RN at Saint Joseph School of Nursing in Fort Worth, Texas, after which she worked 20 years for the Fort Worth ISD as a school nurse.
She is survived by two of her three children, Gary Williamson and Lynette McCracken.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15 at Shannon Funeral Home on Rufe Snow Drive. Visitation will begin an hour earlier at 2:00 p.m.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Proverbs12:10 Animal Advocacy / Rescue / Sanctuary (tinyurl.com/Prov1210animals).
