Betty Woody, age 91, passed away April 2, 2023, in San Antonio, TX. She was born on May 24, 1931 in Springville, Alabama, to Clarence and Willie Mae Brashier. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and friend, who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Woody, her parents, and great grandchild, Mackenzie.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Foster, two grandsons, Trey and wife Emily, Anthony and partner Yvonne, her great grandchildren, Jordan and partner Jewel, Zachery, Journey, Jayden, Emma, Breanna and Brandon.
The visitation will be on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the San Antonio Humane Society.
