Bill Abdo Obituary
Madison
William Lynn "Bill" Abdo, 61, passed away Wednesday March 14, 2012 at home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Saturday March 17, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, preceded by visitation at 10am. Visitation will also be 5-7pm today at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. Burial will be in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Judy; son, Will Abdo of Jackson; brothers, George Abdo of Oxford and Jimmy Abdo of Greenville; and numerous other family members.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4000 W Tidewater Ln., Madison, MS 39110.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. We are blessed and grateful to have friends like you all to see us through this time of grieving. Bill will be greatly missed as a father, husband, brother, friend, and business owner. However, we find comfort in knowing that he is in a better place.

Dear Judy and Will, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's death. I have many fond memories visitng the store and getting to know you, Bill and Diane over the last 25 years. Please know that you and the entire Abdo family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you find some comfort in one of my favorite scriptures, Matthew 6:25-34. You have my deep and sincere sympathy.

Often someone will say this person lived life with energy.....Bill lived his with exuberance. Some remark a person lived a full life.....Bill lived his with passion. Some people light up a room when they walk in.....Bill was a glowing beacon in the world around him. Every time he walked inside the door our employees smiled, other customers looked with astonishment and they all saw what Judy saw everyday....a man determined to see the best in everyday and everyone and to make the world a friendlier, happier place to be.
If everyone who knew him could only make each day better for one other person, like Bill did all the time, can you imagine how nice it would be?
We are blessed to have the Abdo family as friends.

Bill will be very missed by many husbands that he helped over many years to provide great memories and family heirlooms to thrilled wives, mothers and daughters. Bill was a great man of many talents. My deepest sympathy to Judy and Will. You are in my prayers as I have been in yours over the years.
