Not sure what to say?

I think of you often, My Friend.
Bill Mc Donald

We were terribly saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We met Bill, and Sigrid, when he became my boss at Project 90 in 1986. We became great friends and delighted in their company. Both were great storytellers, especially about themselves. Even though we left the Bay Area 17+ years ago, we remained friends and will miss them both very much as we know you will! May the memories of Bill's, and Sigrid's, wonderful spirit be a comfort to us all!

My husband Dean and I renewed our friendship with Bill and Sigrid over 20 years ago while we were at an all class reunion in San Diego from that time we kept in close contact. We always enjoyed Bill and his many stories about long ago days in mitchell. If there were more like Bill our population would increase greatly--as he loved his old home town. He will be greatly missed by many of us.

To the family- we shared Bill with you in my 12 step family, in the historical society- Bill and I walked the same path.I am also grateful for meeting Sigrud also, man what a lovely couple. I was able to get Bill to VA appointments etc.and grateful to be of service.

My mother died in August and Bill was compassionate, understanding and helpful.

Bill was a recent returnee to Mitchell after many years of absence but he got involved with our Historic Society & stayed involved. We thank him for his service to our country as well as to Mitchell & our Society.

Bill was a joy to know. I am grateful he was so very willing to share his recovery with so many. He will be missed

To the family, you have our condolences. We'll miss Bill at the Carnegie Resource Center in Mitchell and all his stories. Too bad we weren't recording when he was talking.

To a fellow history buff with great appreciation for your service as a marine corpman in WWII and to a life well lived.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and many friends. We will miss hearing the wonderful stories that Bill shared with us.
