We were terribly saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We met Bill, and Sigrid, when he became my boss at Project 90 in 1986. We became great friends and delighted in their company. Both were great storytellers, especially about themselves. Even though we left the Bay Area 17+ years ago, we remained friends and will miss them both very much as we know you will! May the memories of Bill's, and Sigrid's, wonderful spirit be a comfort to us all!

My husband Dean and I renewed our friendship with Bill and Sigrid over 20 years ago while we were at an all class reunion in San Diego from that time we kept in close contact. We always enjoyed Bill and his many stories about long ago days in mitchell. If there were more like Bill our population would increase greatly--as he loved his old home town. He will be greatly missed by many of us.

I knew Bill only a short time, but we had a common bond - we were both pharmacist's mates in the Navy; he in WWII and I in the Korean Conflict. Bill became a good friend. I shall miss him.

Grateful for having met Bill and Sigrud in Mitchell at our 12 step meetings. Bill was like an uncle to me- he helped me when my mother died this last August.
