I was one of the blessed students to attend Victory World Missions Training Center when it first started - the 1984 class. Changed my life and ministry. Billy Joe and Sharon were precious to us as we prepared for the Missions fields God would lead us into. I still tell of all that happened in those days as a testimony of God providing a foundation of faith and precious fellowship in preparation for His work.

Rev. Billy Joe Daugherty was my pastor when I attended Oral Roberts University from Sept 1984 to June 1987, and then until the following year after I graduated. I sang there at the church often, and was in the choir, too. He was such a tender and loving man, that when you spoke with him, you knew he was really with you for those few moments. My condolances to all. I am a 1990 graduate of Victory Bible Institute. I just recently heard Billye Brim say Billye Je had passed. He is greatly missed by all. ?What a mighty man of God.

I told my husband along time ago that I wanted to move from Michigan to Tulsa so we could go to Billy Joe and Sharon's VBI. Our heart is with the family even though we know Billy is fine we know there is a huge empty place in your heart right now. God Bless You.

DAUGHERTY.HIS PRESENCE SHOWN THE LORV OF THE LORD WETHER HE WAS TALKING, PREACHING, OR JUST BEING IN HIS PRESENCE. WHAT A JOY FOR A LOVE ONE TO LEAVE BEHIND BUT FOR THE WORLD TO HAVE BEEN SO TOUCHED BY THIS POWERFUL MAN OF GOD.
