Billy Harvill Obituary
Born on February 6, 1936, Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force from September 2, 1954, until his honorable discharge on October 1, 1957. Following his military service, he worked at McClellan Air Force Base from 1962 until his retirement in 1991.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Becky, Sandy, Karen, Debbie, Steven, and Kim; along with his 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Bill had a passion for woodworking and was especially known for his intricate intarsia art pieces, which he showcased at festivals and craft shows. He found joy in traveling, family gatherings, and playing cribbage. Some of his fondest moments were spent watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play on the tree- and flower-filled property that he and Marion thoughtfully created together.
In accordance with Bill's wishes, no public services will be held.

I was saddened to hear about Bill. He was a great boss. I worked with him back in early 1982 as his secretary when he was in charge of the MAQBC division at McClellan AFB. I met his lovely wife when they came to our wedding in 1984. He was my favorite boss I ever had. They both were good people. I miss him and the gang I worked with. We left after our twins were born. He was always glad to see them when I would visit everyone with the twins.
I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of working with him. I was looking him up to see if he was around, as I moved back to Sacramento. I was surprised to find his obituary. Sending my sincerest sympathy. He truly was a good man.
