Betty Jean,
It has been years since I have seen you, but I saw Gene's obituary on line and wanted to get in touch and tell you that my heart goes out to you. I just recently lost my husband also (May 27). Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gene and I were varsity basketball teammates at Granite Falls High for three years. We reestablished contact a few years ago via email but never had an opportunity to meet again, in person. I regret that. He was a "character"!
My sincere, deepest sympathy to Betty Jean and the rest of Gene's family.
