With heavy hearts we sadly announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Bjorn. He will be lovingly remembered by Patrycja, his partner; parents, Caryl, (step-father Robert), sisters Anna (Andrew), Chantal and step-sisters Pascale and Kieve; Grandmother Louise, as well as many, many friends and his dogs, Mishu and Pierre. Bjorn is predeceased by his father Aage "Yogi" Sylvest. In Bjorn's youth he competed in supercross motorcycle racing and excelled in Canada as well as Europe. Bjorn graduated from BCIT as a licensed heavy duty mechanic and entrepreneur who conceived, launched and successfully operated as well as expanded Curbside Mobile Repair. Bjorn enjoyed spending his leisure time snowboarding and playing recreational hockey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of BC.

I am at a loss for words. Bjorn and I "dated" in Highschool and I'll never forget the day he had someone drive him 45 minutes to my house on Valentine's Day just to bring me a teddy bear and a rose. We were only 14 years old and that goes to show he was and always will be the sweet boy I remember him as. I recently sent him a friend request on FB so we could catch up after all these years, unfortunately we didn't get that chance and now I know why. My deepest condolences to his family, the world has lost a gentle soul and a great man.
