Not sure what to say?

So very sorry to hear about Blanche's passing. We were neighbors for many years. She was the epitome of intersectionality in all things progressive. We laughed and cried (and kicked a few butts) over unions, politics, public policy, Kaiser, and healthcare.

My heart goes out to her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Blanche ❤

Blanche, you have always been a wonderful friend, colleague and mentor to me. We stood together through the strike in 1986 as members of the bargaining team and you empowered me to always stand up for what is right. I learned so much from you. We were known to stand our ground and I couldn't have done it without you. Rest in peace my friend, you have left a remarkable legacy.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Blanche you will truly be missed. We had such good time at Kaiser rest in peace my friend.

please let me know when your "party" will be held in september. I am blanche's co-muckraker
from the measure j campaign in the 80s.

Sending my condolences to Blanche's family and loved ones. Blanche has been my heroine and mentor in the labor union movement, through many years of working together in the 1970's and 1980's in Local 250, and on many union Committees and especially through our rank and file Committee for a Democratic Union. I especially want to thank Blanche for being so devoted to her co-workers and so many people who she skillfully represented and prevented from being unfairly disciplined or fired, how hard...

Blanche was a huge influence on so many people, myself included and especially. She fought tirelessly for the rights of workers even if it meant going up against their own union! She was the most "organic" progressive I'd ever met, having an innate understanding of what's right and wrong and how things are. It was never intellectual or academic to her, it was who she was.
I'll miss her tremendously.
