Blondina was such a unique person; talented, witty, down to earth and loving. She's held a special place in my life and heart for some 55 years. We first met when I was a young teen. She and my father had a relationship of many years. Being raised by a single father, she helped me navigate some of the bumpy teen moments and much later she was there for me when my father passed away. Blondina had a funny and joking type of personality. A fun person to be around. She was very gifted and talented in her paintings,painted sweatshirts, and painted Christmas Cards. I am very fortunate to have three paintings done by her throughout my home. The painting of the family farm is the one I treasure most. As her grand niece, I was fortunate to have met her one summer day at my grandparents' Perham farm during my adolescent years. I remember a woman that was fun to be around and "kept me in stitches" with her witty personality. I wish there had been more visits with her. My mom has a few of her paintings that have been admired by many people. I loved wearing the painted "Butterfly" sweatshirt she made for me years ago.
