Not sure what to say?

Mr Donaldson became close at UAHS. As a rebel without a clue, his classes engaged me to the point of actually looking forward to seeing him in class - no small deal. We stayed close my Senior year and then I lost him as I attended BGSU in the fall of 1980. He had talked about running for some office and I hope I didn´t let him down.

I adored Mr. Donaldson. Gentle, honest, a passionate educator. I have vivid memories of him and his teaching. I returned to the 2019 reunion for the sole purpose of thanking him for being such a influence in my life. I saw him, hugged him, laughed with him re his football coaching, and thanked him. It made the entire trip back to Ohio worthwhile. I remember a football drill where Carl Compton blindsided me and just about killed me. Mr. Donaldson came up to me, and said, "That looked like it...

Mr. Donaldson was one of my very, very favorite and inspiring teachers. I was lucky to have had him as a teacher. He made history class come alive!

This man inspired me to teach history I decided in his 7th CORE class this would be my calling too He was a knowledgeable classy guy I can only hope I had half the impact on my students as he had on me Prayers to his family and all who loved and admired this man

Great teacher Always had my respect.

Bob, who I adored, inspired my love of government, not from the classroom but from our many nights watching Monty python waiting for Scot to get off work. While I unfortunately had to move on in my life my love for him never left. He was a sweet and generous man in so many ways -much love to all of you.

I will feel his presence with me always. Love and miss you, Dad.
