I adored Mr. Donaldson. Gentle, honest, a passionate educator. I have vivid memories of him and his teaching. I returned to the 2019 reunion for the sole purpose of thanking him for being such a influence in my life. I saw him, hugged him, laughed with him re his football coaching, and thanked him. It made the entire trip back to Ohio worthwhile. I remember a football drill where Carl Compton blindsided me and just about killed me. Mr. Donaldson came up to me, and said, "That looked like it hurt." It did. :>)

Bob, who I adored, inspired my love of government, not from the classroom but from our many nights watching Monty python waiting for Scot to get off work. While I unfortunately had to move on in my life my love for him never left. He was a sweet and generous man in so many ways -much love to all of you.
