Heidi Triplett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Evergreen Funeral Cremation and Reception - Columbus on Dec. 1, 2025.
Heidi Louise Ebel Triplett, 61, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 24, 2025. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend.

Heidi was born on August 23, 1964, in New York City. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School and attended the Ohio State University, where she graduated with a degree in Economics. She was also a proud sister of Pi Beta Phi. She later studied interior design at Columbus College of Art and Design and in London, England. She was a leader in the Pleasure Guild, the UA Women's Club, the Junior League, and the Childhood League. She had a gift for bringing people together and was known for her unforgettable, joy-filled gatherings.

Heidi married Thor Triplett, and she brought her twin children into this world, Hunter and Isabella. Hunter and Isabella were her pride and joy, and she loved them beyond measure.

Heidi enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling. Heidi was the biggest cheerleader for Hunter and Isabella, and could be found cheering the hardest at their sporting events, in the audience at their orchestra concerts, and behind the scenes helping them in their academics.

Heidi truly had an appreciation for beauty, design, and style, bringing her vision to everything she touched – whether that be the homes she renovated and "flipped," her children's college dorm rooms (yes, she even made those look nice), or being the first person her daughter would call when she needed help picking out an outfit.

She saw the beauty in everything and everyone around her. She deeply loved the people in her life, and she would do anything to help her children achieve their wildest dreams.

Heidi is survived by her twins, Hunter and Isabella; her brother, Pete (Maureen) Ebel; the father of her children, Thor Triplett; her nieces and nephews, Emily, Joe, and Audrey Ebel; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and everyone who was lucky enough to call her a friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Grace Ebel, her infant son, Thor Triplett Jr., and her beloved Goldendoodle, Marley-bear.

Calling Hours will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at Evergreen Funeral Cremation & Reception. A celebration of Heidi's life will be held at 11:00 am on December 5th, 2025, at Evergreen Funeral Cremation & Reception, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories. She will be laid to rest next to her son, Thor Triplett Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Heidi's memory to Columbus Humane at https://www.columbushumane.org/home. Her loyal, loving friend, Marley, brought her so much joy. She'd love to know that her memory can go to help other animals find safe and caring homes.

We love you, Mom.
