Not sure what to say?

I will always remember you as a great teacher and mentor. Thanks for all the wonderful memories from a proud member of the Flying Falcon Band (aka The Big Bad Bob Band)! Rest in Peace Mr. Edwards.

One of my favorite teachers at West Henderson High School.

My heart is saddened at the loss of Mr. Edward's. He made such a positive impact on all of us who had the privilege to be in his band. Deepest sympathy to all his family and friends.

Mrs. Edwards, I'm so sorry, for your loss. My family thought so much of you and Mr Edward's. Bob Edward's was by far, my favorite teacher and Band, my favorite memory of, High School. Sending you love, hugs and Prayers.

Denna and I are both saddened to hear about a favorite WHHS teacher and friend. As a member of that first band at West, I knew right away that Bob had the biblical patience of Job to take-on such an enormous task. But he did it. To have the musical skill to teach a rowdy bunch of teenagers to read music and transfer that to actual notes on an instrument was incredible. Bob had to love us all. It was years later, that he and I reconnected in life after I had pursued a path in more traditional...

Mrs. Judy, I am so sorry for your loss. It is a loss to us all. Bob Edwards changed my life in so many ways. He was probably the most influential adult in my life from 1973 - 1979. He provided a safe space for all the misfits and weird kids (I was one of them) to be who we were and still feel accepted and welcomed. I have been giggling as I think of all the crazy memories and joyful times we spent with him. I´m forever grateful to have been a part of the B-I-G, the B-A-D, the B-O-B, the...

Such great memories of Mr. Edward's over many years. Prayers for comfort and peace. The Big Bad Bob Band was one of a kind and he made it happen

Mr Edwards was a big part of our lives as band director at both Rugby & West. He taught, encouraged and gave me space to grow as a leader. I was amazed by his half time show designs and thoroughly enjoyed integrating the flag Corp into them. Through the years I've run into he and his wife Judy many times. It always brightened my day to visit in the grocery store isles May peace and comfort be with all those mourning his absence.

Oh Judy I am so very sorry. You knew how much I loved him. He was so fun but he knew when we needed to get serious. Practicing on the football field everyday was so much fun learning new routines each week. I can still he him say to certain people "Pick up your feet!!" He had the patience of Job. We went to many fun places and new experiences. I only have good memories of BBB Flying Falcon Band. Judy you were such a part of our lives too and always helped. I will forever remember him and love...
