I met Bob in Ft. Yukon, Alaska when he first arrived in Alaska. I was living in Ft. Yukon (from 1973-75 ) at that time and would see him when he would come there to get supplies and hang out awhile with Friends from Ft. Yukon. After all those years of being away from Alaska, It was such a delight for me to see him again on the Last Alaskans and see how he had continued to Live the Life that he had always dreamed of since his youth. I must of what the show quite a few times. And it never gets old for me. Bob touched my heart in a nice way. Love his story. I just happened to come across his passing and it broke my heart. I hope he got to see Las Vegas and ate all the crawl fish you wanted. RIP dear Sir.

We just recently started watching The Last Alaskans we fell in love with everyone felt like family but Bob & his family we just felt a closeness we watched from the first episode to the last we were so sad to hear of Bobs passing I know he passed in 2017 & it´s 2026 now but it seems like we were there at that time sending our condolences thoughts & prayers for Bobs family & Friends
