Coach Houmard was a real difference maker and will be truly missed. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. I was a student at Vincent Massey Collegiate (VMC) in Winnipeg from 1969 to 1972. Coach Houmard was the Phys. Ed. teacher during the off-season when he played football with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was a great teacher and brought an energetic, fun and intense competitive level to all school team sports and even to intra-mural athletics. I have a great memory of him...
