Not sure what to say?

Wonderful man of God! He deeply loved the Lord Jesus and people. Was my and my family's pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Palestine, Tx. Never forget going with Bobby to visit the elderly lady with the talking parrot named "Polly" out in the country. My wife and I went to a pastor's conference with him and his sweet wife Leah in late 1970's in Indiana---was 18 below zero. We never laughed so hard in all our lives. Talked him and Leah into seeing "The Raiders of the Lost Arc" in...

Leah and family, My sincere sympathy for you all at the loss of Preacher. He was a devout man of God and through his ministry , thousands are now saved by the grace of Jesus Christ. The legacy he leaves behind will forever be remembered. He was a prayer warrior for our troops and I so appreciate all the prayers he did for my adopted soldiers. I am honored that I was given the opportunity to know him and to be able to call him friend.

Sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family.

Dearest Leah, Our deepest sympathy and prayers for you and the Herrell family as you mourn the departure of your wonderful husband. We pray the Lord comforts you. Preacher was such a man of honor in God's Kingdom on Earth. Now the Lord has called him home to be with him in Heaven. We know the hope we have in Jesus Christ when we shall see our Savior and our loved ones again. You are in our prayers daily. We love you very much. Preacher and you have been a blessing to our family. Love in...

He holds a special place in the hearts of thousands. What an honor it has been to know him .. I will miss him. Love and prayers to all of your family.

Are lose heaven's gain. Paster was a lot to a lot of people. I am so happy to have called him friend and I will miss him.
When I think of him 2 Timothy 4:6&7 comes to mind.

I was so sad to hear that Preacher had passed on but then I started thinking about where he is. How beautiful heaven must be today for him, he is no longer ill, he no longer has to use his chair, his voice is strong again, and he is with his Lord Jesus Christ.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the family, I can't even imagine the feelings you have today, but what a joy to know we will see Preacher again someday. He was such a special person to me and my family, I will never...

There aren't enough words to say about how instrumental Bro. Herrell was in touching so many lives. God has used him in a mighty way and now he is where is has always wanted to be - with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My heart goes out to the family and I pray for peace and comfort which I know they will find in our Lord. Leah, you have taken care of him for such a long time during his illness and you are to be highly commended. I love you all and God bless each one of you.
