Not sure what to say?

Served all 4 years USAF with Bobby. Tried to find him since 1972. He worked for my partners neighbor (Dell) and I didn't know it. Went to school in Phoenix at GE also. Loved him like a brother. Wish I could have found him and kept in touch.

I served 4 years in the Air Force with Bobby. Every time one of us would get transferred, the other would get the same orders no more than a week apart.

We were in San Antonio, Biloxi Misissippi (Keesler FB) and McGuire AFB Until our discharge.

My wife cried when I finally found his passing after over 50 years of looking. I knew he lived in Spur and Post Tx when young and the one time I accidently met him again at Dealey Plaza in 1967 or 68. I lost track of him...

Kris, terribly sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. We remember all the fun parties we had with all our neighbors. Larry and Marie Holland

I was blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and work with Bobby over the past year or so. Bob was a quality type person, that left his mark on you from the time you met him. I will forever remember Bobby and extend my heart felt condolences to Kris and family. Bobby relied on his faith to provide a path in life , and I have no doubt he continues to share his love for family and the Lord. Heaven has gained Gained a person that has moved into the starting Lineup in his New Home. ...

I joined the Bayswater Gardens Family in 1992. In 2009 a chocolate lab mix, July Johnson came to live with me as a puppy. We walk, along with July's cousin, passed Bob's house 5 to 6 days a week, at least, health and weather permitting. Bob almost always had his garage door open as he was forever active, working his yard, adjusting his bicycle, making furniture for his grandchildren, remodeling or painting for Kris. When July sees Bob, he pulls on his leash until I unhook him, then he...

What a legacy he built! I loved reading about his life. My prayers are with the entire family.

Our hearts ache with yours for this gentle giant!! Heaven is sweeter and sweeter each day. Love you! Tom & Cheryl

I feel like I knew Bobby Joe from hearing such wonderful things about him from your friends and neighbors, Belinda and Russell. There is no doubt he will be missed; however, pleasant memories will live on forever. And, on behalf of Hospice Austin Christopher House, we would like to thank you for mentioning us in his obituary. It was an honor for us to care for him in his final days. May God bless you and your family with His faith, hope, and love. Joe & Camille

Kris & Mary - When Debbie & Gloria informed me last weekend about the passing of Bobby, I was so surprised because I did not know about his cancer. Bobby was a super guy, husband, dad, friend, and neighbor. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you and your extended families. Bobby will be greatly missed and now gets to be reunited with Ryan in heaven. God Rest His Soul.
