Not sure what to say?

He was the type of person, who is unforgettable; few and far between. I have since thought of him on a regular basis recalling memories of his contagious laugh, strong confidence, and generous spirit.

I am totally shocked and disheartened. Boyd was a dear friend and mentor to me and a skilled rancher. We burned a lot of brush together with his brother Joe. I will always remember his tremendous generosity.

This made me sad to discover. He was a good, strong, principled man with a big heart, who would fight hard for the underdog! Praying for the family; my condolences too.

Boyd was a fellow Letterman at SMU and we loved having him at our Tailgate parties, football games, Hall of Fame Annual Dinners and letterman´s club meetings and dinners. He was a great lawyer and terrific friend. He will be missed. May he rest in Peace in Heaven. Happy & Linda Nelson

Boyd was Scott´s roommate at SMU Law School back in 1964. Scott and i married and moved to Newton Arms Apt, soon after, Boyd moved there too. He and Scott worked hard on the defense of a memorable case, winning & having fun! Boyd was one of the great ones!

Mr. Boyd was an incredible person with a generous spirit and a servant's heart. I will sincerely miss him.

Boyd and I grew up together in Temple, played football together there, then both attended SMU on football scholarship. He was my first roommate at SMU and we had remained friends forever. Loved him like a brother for all these years. Rest In Peace, my friend. Jerry Cornelison

Boyd was kind and generous to our family. He was an excellent host when we visited him. May he Rest In Peace.
