Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ableson, I just learned of "Chaps" passing. He spent countless hours answering my questions regarding theology, the church, the scriptures etc.. during the 2002 deployment of the USS George Washington. I am a better man and christian for having known "Chaps". I will miss him terribly. God Bless You.

We remember Brad well. We were aware of his battle with cancer. He has fulfilled a great ministry thrrough his life and dedication to the Kingdom of God. His memory will be a blessing to you and many others throughout the coming days, weeks, months and years. May God be glorified in his memory as He was glorified in and by Brad's life!

To the Abelson Family - My deepest sympathy for your loss! As a high school classmate, teammate and friend, I cherish the thoughts and memories of Brad from our youth. He was a great individual then and obviously carried those same qualities forward in his life. I'm extremely honored and humbled to call Brad my friend and appreciate his loyal service to the Lord and our country. We will truly miss him!!

THANKS FOR YOUR Military Service.
Past Commander V.F.W.

Dear Julia,

Although we barely knew you and Brad, you always greeted Cindy and me with open arms. Knowing you and Brad has enriched our lives and our memories of you, and Brad’s courageous struggle, will always be with us. To Brad; Fair winds and following seas and long may your big jib draw. And to you, Julia, Godspeed as your new journey will be difficult. You will be forever welcome in our home as well as our hearts.

Sincerely,
Todd Stephenson

My heart breaks and yet I somehow know that Brad is celebrating...what a gift to this world and I feel honored to have had him in my life...and you...you have always brought such a joy to my life, too...please know that I am thinking of you and hoping that I see you one of these days soon...guess that Brad and Chip are now able to really discuss the issues of the day!!! How blessed are we to have had them...but above all, take care of yourself, dear one...

Juanise and family,
Our prayers have been answered. Brad has been healed. Our God is such an awsome God and He answers all of our prayers. With that, I will continue to pray for you and your family, that God will comfort you during this time of transition. I know that Brad will truly be missed by many.

Dear Julia,

My heart aches for you dear friend. When I learned of your beloved Brad's passing, I was consumed with emotions -- grief, sadness, sorrow, anger. But, after reading his obituary and the condolences offered by his many friends and family members, I find myself in absolute awe. Absolute awe of his impressive background, absolute awe of his career highlights, absolute awe of his tremendous accomplishments but . . . most of all, absolute awe of the man himself -- the man...
