Not sure what to say?

Although I didn't get to know you personally... as a fellow member I had high hopes for you. As a human I looked up to you. You never failed to meet the expectations that brought upon you.

Your kind nature touched hundreds if not thousands across the planet.

I think it's safe to say from everyone with you in ZC that we will miss never getting to talk with you again.

-K

Joe, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. May your father/son memories of Brad ease some of your pain. Hold them tight. God bless.

My heartfelt condolences to the Schmitt family. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Please accept my deep condolences with the passing of your son. I cannot begin to imagine the sadness that your family is experiencing right now. My son is stationed at Camp Pendleton right now. As a mother I of a Marine I am beginning to understand the honor that goes with being a Marine. Our sons carry a sense of courage and duty. I am just so very sorry and I carry your sadness in my heart.

Semper Fi and God Bless!

To the family of Corporal Schmitt. I did not know your son. But, I wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you for your loss. My gratitude and appreciation will never be enough to take away the pain you are experiencing. Because of your son we are able to sleep in peace at night knowing we are safe. This will always be remembered.

My deepest condolences and love to Joe Schmitt and Family for the loss of Brad. May God be with you all. Aunt Kay Goddard/family
