Brandon Severance Obituary

Brandon Glenn Severance

HAUGHTON, LA - Services celebrating the life of Brandon Glenn Severance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2015 with Bro. Dennis Aaron officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends for visitation on Sunday, January, 3, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Brandon was born in Bossier City, LA on April 6, 1978. He attended Marshall High School. He was a loyal employee for Transocean Deep Water Drilling Co. for over 15 years. He had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Brandon loved his children and being a father was his greatest joy. He would make sure that he told his family that he loved them…repeatedly. His quick humor and antagonistic nature defined his unique personality.

Brandon is survived by his sons; Skyler Severance and Chase Severance, daughter; Sadie Severance, mother; Karen McDowell, grandmother; Dorothy Hughes, grandfather; Tracy Glenn Harville, sister Lacy Tate and brother Kevin Tate, aunts; Kim Collier and husband Reggie and Mary Harville, cousins; Amber Avery and Alexandra Collier.

To my precious son,Brandon Severance..... There will never be another quite like you.!! You had your own uniqueness, that made you who you are.!!! You were one of a kind.!! You are always in my heart, and on my mind.!!!! I will always miss those."I LOVE YOU M0M", all those calls every day, at lunch when you were working just to see what I was doing, and tell me you love me !!! I can't imagine living without you the rest of my life.!! Soooo sorry Brandon, I did not get to see you for Christmas 2015.!! Was planning on seeing you the 1st of January, but God had other plans.!! I know you had called me two days after Christmas, and ask MOM when are you coming home?? I raised you from a precious little boy, to the young man you were today.!! You will be a part of my life forever !!! I can see you sitting here in my home, sitting in front of the television with your beer, and watching TV.!!! I can hear the garage door opening, and you going out to smoke your cigarette.!!! Love you my son.!! I know you are in heaven with Jesus.!!! Will see you again one day.!!! Thank God you did not suffer.!! He took you home without lingering in pain.!! For that I am very thankful.!!! Love you son, not a day will go by that you will not be thought of !!! Love you to the heavens and back!!!!! R.I.P.!!!! !!!

Bubba, I miss you. I slept in your old room last night and couldn't stop myself from thinking of the times you'd ask me to drive you to the store and to go smoke a cigarette. Your smile, your laugh. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. Residents in Peace bubba. I love you

Dorothy, Karen, Kevin, Lacy, Kim & Ted, children and family, I was so shocked about the passing of Brandon. I haven't known him all that long but I've heard many great stories of him and his life here on earth. He was always so friendly and when he would come to pick Becca up from our house he always had a beautiful smile on his face. I know that he loved each and everyone of you so very much. May your memories bring you comfort and Brandon its time for you to go rest high on that mountain.

Karen, my heart is breaking as I read this. Brandon was such a precious person. He and Paul were grade school best friends and spent lots of times together at your grandparents. Love and prayers for you all, especially you and Mary Ann.

Karen, My heart is broken as I read this. Although I have not seen Brandon in years, he and my son, Paul, were best friends is grade school. Brandon was always a good child and both my children loved when Mary Ann would call and come get them to go visit . Every time I talk with Mary Ann, I ask about Brandon. Praying for you all today and in the days ahead.
