Brant Lee Poole CLAREMONT Brant Lee Poole, 71, of Claremont, died Sunday, March 04, 2012 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born Sept. 21, 1940 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Russell and Mattie Lee Wilkerson Poole. He had retired from the furniture industry and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Mr. Poole was a member of Mathis Chapel Baptist Church in Catawba. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Dean Poole. Survivors include his wife, Linda Schronce Poole, of the home; brother, Richard Lee Poole and his wife, Barbara of Catawba. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at Mathis Chapel Baptist Church. , the Rev. Travis Triplett will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
