Brenda Denise (Taylor) Holder, 58, of Knoxville, TN, beloved mother, grandmother (Nee), daughter, and sister passed away suddenly on April 27, 2017.
Denise was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jordan Alexis Hatcher; father, Kyle Taylor, Sr.; grandparents, Charles and Emily Yoder; James and Gladys Taylor. Survived by daughters, Ashley Taylor, Emily Holder; grandson and best friend, Judd Taylor; mother, Brenda Taylor; brother, Kyle Taylor, Jr. (Caroline); sisters, Tina Sharp (Jay), Lisa Taylor, Kristi Long (Kenny), Lacey Corum (James); nieces, Chelsea Sharp, Marissa Corum; nephews, Jason Sharp (Alicia), Chad Sharp (Brittany), Jake Long (Lindsay), Jared Long (Emily), James Taylor, Vincent Corum; great-niece, Leighton Taylor; great-nephews, Elliot and Atticus Sharp. Extended family; aunt and cousins in Florida.
The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at Eastview Cemetery, 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017, for a graveside service. Pallbearers, Jason Sharp, Chad Sharp, Jake Long, Jared Long, Kenny Long, Jay Sharp, and James Corum. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.

Denise and I were good friends in high school. We had lost touch with each other over the years, but she was a sweet and happy person and always made me laugh. I know she will be greatly missed. May you find comfort in your memories.

I have known Denise Taylor for most of my life. She is undoubtedly the sweetest, most kind, loving & compassionate person I have ever known. She will be greatly missed. If I had been lucky enough to have a sister, Denise would have been the one that I would have chosen. My heart felt prayers & thoughts go out to the family during this most difficult time. I'm so sorry to hear of Brenda passing. Didn't know her long, but just know she just surrounded people with love. The many times I sat and talked to her at football practices and football games, while we watched Judd and my son, Mark, play. She never missed it for the world. I know she was loved and she gave love. Now she is sitting with the Lord, praising him.
