Not sure what to say?

To the McCarthy Family -- Rest In Peace Brendan. He will be missed in Black Rock. Loved to talk and spread his Wisdom to others. Bill has welcomed him up in Heaven with a cold beer and a Roast Beef sandwich. Prayers and Love to you all. xoxoxo

My deepest condolences to the McCarthy
family at this difficult time.
I have fond memories of Brendan from SHC
and those weekend reunions in Chicago.
Rest in Peace.

Brendan will be missed tremendously.. it was a privilege to get to know him these past few years. Even during challenging times, he made such a positive influence to everyone around him.. whether those alike or different. He always had a joke or an upbeat comment & that will be so missed. Sending condolences to his wonderful family who he spoke about often!

I had the privilege of coaching with Brendan in Black Rock Little League for many years. He was a great coach and impacted hundreds of lives. To say that he was one in a million or even one of a kind does not do him justice. He was so much more and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

Brendan had a keen sense of humor and a great outlook on life. He could talk at length about the virtues of Descartes and Merton and then the value a good rotation to defense...

Kathy and Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Brendan so very well. He was always happy and kind.
My most sincere sympathy.
With love and sadness ,
Jacki Porto and family

To all of the McCarthy Clan: My dad, who you fondly call Jackie, and the rest of our Family were so very sad to hear the news about Brendan. We all remember him well and even with dad's memory loss, he recalls all of you from the days on Blackrock Ave.. He remembers Brendan very well and he said he was a sweet kid and a character with a great laugh...

Our hearts and memories will keep him always close...Much love to Kathy, the kids and the rest of you...

Prayers of comfort to family, friends and anyone who got to know "Homer". He will be missed. Every time he drove by me, no matter where it was, I knew it was Homer because I would always hear, "Yak she mash!!" yelled out the window as he drove by. Homer definitely is a Black Rock Icon and shall not be forgotten.
