Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear of Brent's passing. I remember him fondly from law school and later at the Denver Courthouse. He will be greatly missed.

I met Brent in Florida at a conference in October, we were roomates for 30 days and I was wheelchair bound. This man with a heart of gold made sure I never missed a meeting and regardless of the struggle in yanking me around as he always did. With our nightly conversations, I grew to know a personal side of him who loved and was so proud of his family. I can honestly say if I can meet a man of his calibur once in a life time and If I miss him now with honest tears in my eyes, I hope only you...

Dear Martin Family
It is with great saddness that I write this today. My friend Brent will be extremely missed by all that knew him. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Mr. Greg Martin and to other family members, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you at this time. Please know that we all will miss him.

It was a pleasure to have met and had Brent represent my husband after his car accident. I know the pain his family will feel after the loss of my father at age 14. Our condolences to all of Brent's family.

The thing I will remember most about Brent was his effortless ability to make people smile. I am proud to have known him. He was intelligent, funny, and, above all, a down-to-earth, decent person. Brent had a presence to him that, when you were around him, made it almost impossible to be in a bad mood. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. We have lost a truly amazing person.

Brent was one of my roommates during my second year in law school. Brent was funny, smart, and tackled everything -- work or play -- with boundless enthusiasm. He was quick on his feet and though I never worked with him, I have no doubt that he was a formidable trial lawyer. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Brent's family and especially to Jen. Rest in Peace. Tom

Brent will be missed by all who came to know him. A great father, husband and friend.

Brent and I were roommates our second year of law school. He never failed to bring a smile to my face or to the faces of our other roommates, including the one who lived in our downstairs closet. Really. We had some great times.

Jen, my deepest and most sincere condolences to you and your terrific kids. Brent spoke of them often to me.

Love,

Dan
