Brett, I will always miss the good times we shared. You were always a good friend to me and I thought of you as family. It has been tough these last few weeks knowing that I would say goodbye to you for the last time. I could fill the pages of many books with my memories of you. When I think of you, I think of you being 10 years old sitting in the back of your moms old Cutlass coming back from a carnival singing your heart out to the song killing me softly by the Fugees!!!! you were getting it buddy! Thats my best memory of you! you have a wonderful, BIG, crazy family who loves you so much and will never let a day go bye without thinking of you!! REST IN PEACE little man and you will be so missed!!!

My thoughts and prayers have been with you. It's taken me awhile to write as I've been so deeply saddened by this. As I told my mother, Theada, I cannot say I understand as I've never lost a child or grandchild. I can say I understand the loss in as much as my grandparents who helped to raise me.
