Not sure what to say?

I went to elementary school with Brett at Encinal School. He was a grade ahead of me. Brett loved to hunt and always had the best deer jerky to share with us. He would bring a couple different flavors to share. It was always delicious. He always had a great hunting or farming story to share. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. Praying for his family and his boys. May the lord comfort you all and bring you peace and comfort. God Bless, Jenny Filter Family

My name is Rocco. I was a friend of Brett ever since he worked at Gray Lodge way back when.. he was amazing not only is a hunter as a friend. I know I was a lot older than him. I always thought of him as being my son. we hunted a lot of good times out there at Gray Lodge And in memory of him I´m going to plant a tree at the last place we hunted was at blind number three at Gray Lodge on January 29 of 2025. We made all kinds of plans throughout the year for this coming year for not only his...

Character! That is the word that comes to mind. Brett, you were filled with light, energy, joy, sarcasm :), jokes, fabulous stories, and a deep desire to be a stellar dad. You succeeded. Those boys cherish you, and they will always. All the wonderful parts of you are in them. May you be at peace, guard the boys, fly next to them. Blessings brother. Much love.-Little Sarah

Sweet Brett. Our amazing, hilarious, kind, fun, always there for us, best with a duck call, pizza loving friend. I don't think we have any childhood/ teenage memories without you. Family parties, high-school weekends, school dances, prom, going for rides in your brand new Blazeberry blue toyota, Apple Hill, haunted houses, getting kicked out of California ecology and spending the rest of the period talking and laughing. You always made everything so much fun. We are so thankful that we were...

I´m heartbroken to hear about Brett Butler. We grew up and went to school together. Brett´s laughter and loyalty shaped so many of my best memories. Thinking of his family and everyone who loved him. Rest in peace, Brett. Never above you, never below you, always beside you.
