Not sure what to say?

Just mentioned Brian a few days ago to some of my Vietnam USMC veterans (of which Brian was also) regarding his role as Chief Investigator of the mid 1990s Mollen Commission investigations of corruption in the NYPD. RIP

In reading what I wrote more than seven years ago upon learning of Brian's passing, the years have done nothing to diminish what I wrote then, nor to erase my fond memories of him. If anything, I appreciate even more his personal courage and integrity and his devotion to family and community. RIP you deserve it.

I have know Brian since 1977 when we were instructors at the Police Academy. An honest and caring person who helped me several times during our careers on and off the Police Department.

Very sorry to see Brian leave us much too soon. Brian was a real class act, and all of us in the Police Academy enjoyed working with him.

I was a civilian in the unit that Brian worked in at the Police Academy. Brian was always an officer and a gentleman. He was one of the best. My prayers are with the family.

I first met Brian and remember him fondly when I was a rookie Sergeant in the 32 Pct. His decent and caring disposition taught me how true police professionals should conduct themselves.
