To the family and friends of Capt. Brian Faunce:
Please accept my remembrance of Brian on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

I'm still holding on to your memory Brian. I hope you don't mind me calling you that since you were my commanding officer. I do think about you and the others often. It is hard to let go of the memories of our fallen brothers. Peace be with you and your family. God bless you and your family as well.

Brian, it was great serving with you. I was talking about you with a workmate the other day. You had a canteen cup you'd use when we visited Iraqi leaders throughout the area of operations. For some reason, that stuck out as your signature item. It was something unique that identified you. I remember the day the of the accident. It was the same time I was ambushed outside Tarmiyah. The two events are tied together forever in my mind.
