Mr Halverson was one of the best teachers I ever had. He was one of the very few teachers that truly cared about his students and his craft. I´m very saddened to hear he´s passed. The world lost an amazing soul. Rip.

Brian was the best music teacher! He led the most beautiful choirs and performed at very special events in San Antonio. Brian was creative and provided choir and music lesson like no other. Rest in peace friend, I know you´re leading a beautiful choir in heaven!

Brian was a good friend I met working with educators at NISD. Brian was a leader and Union activist for AFT. Brian spent many hours at the Union office helping out fellow members in many ways. I will miss his dedication and compassion for others.
