Mr Halverson was one of the best teachers I ever had. He was one of the very few teachers that truly cared about his students and his craft.
I´m very saddened to hear he´s passed. The world lost an amazing soul. Rip.

Brian was a good friend I met working with educators at NISD. Brian was a leader and Union activist for AFT. Brian spent many hours at the Union office helping out fellow members in many ways. I will miss his dedication and compassion for others.
