Dear Paula, Flora, and family.

I was so terribly shocked to hear about Brian's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I am having a really hard time with it because my brother, Matt, had passed away at 42 years of age in 2008. The terrible loss of a beloved brother, father, son, and friend at such a young age is difficult to hear about not to mention experience, and hearing that you went through a similar, tragic, and untimely loss is like reliving the loss of my own dear brother. I am so sorry for all of you. My memories of Brian are back from my college days when Paula was my freshman year room mate and the Kyle's generously opened their home to me as I was an east coast transplant. We had a lot of fun together, and I recall a road trip down to Washington, DC with Paula to visit Brian and he toured us through the nation's capitol. He was a great man and a very gentle spirit.

Dear Flora, Paula and family,

I was sorry to hear about Brian's passing - I have fond memories of a young Brian and Paula at church activities in Lyme. He was such a "good kid" and from what I've heard grew into a kind and compassionate man. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Sincerely (the former Nancy Brown)

Paula. listening to you today, I sat and smiled, and cried at the same time, I can't imagine the pain and loss you feel, as I remember the fun we use to have swimming and boating on the lake together. Your big brother "so cool" taught me to water-ski off your dock. And I will never forget the living room gatherings singing songs with your mom playing the piano.
When I think of Brian, my first thoughts go back to our childhood fun, but I later learned of Brian in a different perspective, when we served on the Rodgers Lake Authority together. I met Brian as the caring, compassionate, civic minded person, and I am honored to have served at his side. He will be sorely missed.
As for a sisters love. Wow, after your statements today, I came home and in tears, called my brother in Florida just to say “I love you.”
Thanks you and Brian for all the great memories.
May his peace soothe your heart.

To the entire Kyle family! I was a class mate of Brian's at Suffield Academy and when I think of Brian the first emotion that pops into mind is what a handsome gentleman he was! He was always willing to lend a hand to help, always had kind words to say and never had an enemy! NO WAY! I am so sad sad to hear we have lost a great one and my heart and prayers go out to all of you in this difficult time. I will always have a fond place for Klye in my heart!
Fondly,
