Adobe Creek Funeral Home - Petaluma Obituary

Brian Matthew Lynch passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022, at the age of 62, after a 49ers win and a quiet Christmas morning at home.

Raised in Tiburon, Brian was the second youngest of Raymond and Lois Lynch's 10 children.

Brian met his wife and best friend, Alison (Beal) as a student at Redwood High School. The couple spent the next 43 years together, marrying in 1986 on a perfect November day at Saint Patrick's Church. Brian and Alison moved to Petaluma, where they raised their children. Being a dad came naturally to Brian, who was always proud of his kids. After a long career at his family's business, Brian spent the last few years enjoying retirement with Alison. He had many plans for traveling, camping, and teaching his honorary grandson, Reid, a thing or two about life.

A natural storyteller and genuine friend to all, Brian will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

He leaves behind his wife, Alison, children Kyle (Tabitha), Tyler (Tricia), Lux, Jack, honorary fifth child Scotia (Kevin) and grandnephew and honorary grandson, Reid. He is survived by his siblings Ed, Greg, Diane, Steve, John, Eileen, Chris, and Ray; as well as siblings-in-law Julie and Scott. Brian is reunited in heaven with beloved family and friends, including Raymond, Lois, Barbara, Norman, Kathy, and Greg.

The family will hold a private celebration of life.

I have fond memories of Brain and his family growing up together in Tiburon. We had fun filled times going fishing and camping together. He was a hard worker for the company and a good husband and father. He was like a brother to me and he will be greatly missed. Mike Clift

I'm sorry to hear about Brian, my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Alison, our hearts are so heavy as we send you all of our love. We have adored Brian, your soulmate, from the first time we met him. We´re praying for your strength and peace. Love you dearly, Barry and Mary

Such an amazing guy! The world is definitely a worse place without him.... Love you my friend, thank you for many years of laughter

I was very saddened to hear of Brian's passing. Although we never associated on a personal basis outside of work, we did work together for the better part of almost 30 years.
Brian had a pretty laid back personality sometimes giving the false impression of not caring. Nothing could be further from the truth. Brian was not only a highly talented operator but was knowledgeable with all aspects of construction. It was always a relief watching Brian, his crew and his "Get the Job Done"...

Ali and family, He was truely one of a kind. My deepest heartfelt condolences from myself and my family. We love you.

What a beautiful tribute. I hope all the happy memories of Brian are a comfort to you all.

Love to the family. Prayers.
