Brian Lynch Obituary

Brian Matthew Lynch
August 22, 1960 - December 25, 2022
Brian Matthew Lynch passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022, at the age of 62, after a 49ers win and a quiet Christmas morning at home.
Raised in Tiburon, Brian was the second youngest of Raymond and Lois Lynch's ten children.
Brian met his wife and best friend, Alison (Beal) as a student at Redwood High School. The couple spent the next 43 years together, marrying in 1986 on a perfect November day at Saint Patrick's Church. Brian and Alison moved to Petaluma, where they raised their children. Being a dad came naturally to Brian, who was always proud of his kids. After a long career at his family's business, Brian spent the last few years enjoying retirement with Alison. He had many plans for traveling, camping, and teaching his honorary grandson, Reid, a thing or two about life.
A natural storyteller and genuine friend to all, Brian will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
He leaves behind his wife, Alison, children Kyle (Tabitha), Tyler (Tricia), Lux, Jack, honorary fifth child Scotia (Kevin) and grandnephew and honorary grandson, Reid. He is survived by his siblings Ed, Greg, Diane, Steve, John, Eileen, Chris, and Ray; as well as siblings-in-law Julie and Scott. Brian is reunited in heaven with beloved family and friends, including Raymond, Lois, Barbara, Norman, Kathy, and Greg.
The family will hold a private celebration of life.

I have fond memories of Brain and his family growing up together in Tiburon. We had fun filled times going fishing and camping together. He was a hard worker for the company and a good husband and father. He was like a brother to me and he will be greatly missed.

I was very saddened to hear of Brian's passing. Although we never associated on a personal basis outside of work, we did work together for the better part of almost 30 years.
Brian had a pretty laid back personality sometimes giving the false impression of not caring. Nothing could be further from the truth. Brian was not only a highly talented operator but was knowledgeable with all aspects of construction. It was always a relief watching Brian, his crew and his "Get the Job Done" attitude drive up to the job site. I knew that I didn't have to worry about the projects underground. It was in good hands and would get done.
Thank you Brian for your years of support, your friendship and of course for sharing that quiet humor of yours.
Rest in peace my friend, you will be sorely missed.
