I just spoke with my dad [Pastor Jackson] today and heard about Brian. Our hearts are breaking for you. When mom passed away, almost 2 years ago, I leaned on one verse...
Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Although it may not be a comfort right now -- I believe with all my heart that He has the plan, and He will not leave our side during these really difficult and sad times.

Dear Nancy, Ashley, Doni and the Maihack Family,
I was both shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Brian. I wish I could find the words to comfort you at this time of your loss. I will remember Brian with fond memories of both high school and when he lived on Wisconsin Drive with Nancy and his girls. He was a kind and gentle soul who has now found his way home to the Lord. My heart breaks for you Nancy. I will keep you in my prayers at this time and always.
