Brian McWhorter

Brian has been on my mind a lot over the year since we lost him. I am so grateful that this memorial message was put in the paper to remind us of how special he was. As his cousin, born two months to the day after the twins, I liked to imagine myself being one of triplets, with Brian and Bruce as my brothers. We grew up in Miami, went to FIU at the same time, and while our lives took us in different directions, we ended up less than a half-mile apart in Alpharetta, GA. I will never forget...
