Not sure what to say?

I met Brian at an apartment complex in Saratoga, CA where we both lived sometime around 1977. I was an athlete as well, but barely 20 years old. He was always thinking of others! I moved away in 1980 and never saw him...

The greatest Shot Putter of all time. He set the standard for the modern discus rotation method for the Shot Put. He will be missed!

B.R.O. you will ALWAYS be my hero. I will cherish the times we spent together!

Brian Oldfield was my hero! As a young athlete, I could never of imagined actually meeting him. As I became more proficient in throwing the javelin my sphere of friends evolved. I was blessed to know him as a mentor, Big brother, and most importantly, as MY friend.

I will miss you my friend.
