Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the Oster Family. Brian was one of the warmest and most genuine people I have ever met. I remember sledding on snowy nights in Geneseo and the band playing at the Idle Hour. I know he will be missed by many.

I was and am a big fan of Brian's band. He always had kind words for my friends and I when we used to see him at shows. Today, I live in Boston and do design work for musicians. Without his influence my life would be totally different. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I am so very sorry. Brian was a wonderful person who touched so many lives. His love for every person and every animal was contagious.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Oster and Jenny, I went to Holy Cross and Aquinas with Brian. We rode the bus together and I remember doing my confirmation classes at your house. I was shocked when I heard of Brian's passing. My deepest sympathies go out to you. When I knew him he was fun and friendly, an overall good person. Its sad to know he's gone.

I knew Brian at Geneseo - he was on my floor Freshman year, and we became fast friends. He was so outgoing and always had a smile on his face. He asked my advice about auditioning for the piano professor, among other things, and we talked about collaborating in our 2 styles of playing. Through our friendship, I introduced him to a couple of the people (2 of my best...

Dear Pat,Charlie and Jenny,
We were all quite taken back by the news of Brian`s passing and feel your pain.Matt and Brian were friends way back on Harding Rd days and now again hanging out in Heaven .Matt left us 7-31-01 so he`s been there awhile and can show Brain the "ropes " .I`m sorry that we didn`t hear until late last night or we would have been at Holy Cross yesterday. We`ll keep all of you our prayers.

Sorry for your loss, I went to AQ with Brian he was always a nice, helpful person. Our prayers go out to the entire family

To the Oster Family: Brian and I used to run cross country together at Aquinas. His goofy smile and sense of humor always brightened up the day. He will be forever missed. I wish you all strength in your time of grieving.

To the Oster Family-

I received news about Brian's passing this evening and I am still in shock. Brian was one of the first people I met when I began high school at Aquinas. We ran cross country together and Brian was a few years older than me but I still fondly remember how encouraging and comfortable he made that transition for me. Brian was a kind and gentle soul whose laugh was contagious and whose natural ability to relate with people a special gift. Though I had not seen...
