Not sure what to say?

Was just at the gales game this past weekend and was thinking of Sampy. He always seemed happy being out there... Great guy taken far too soon.

I am also a member of the HL board where I got to know Brian through his frequent posts. I, like others, was devastated to hear of his passing and will miss seeing his posts. He often spoke with love of his family and pride of his team. We will miss him.

To Brian's loving family...I also knew Brian through the Hodgkins Lymphoma forum that he often posted on. His love for his family and team/players always came through in his posts. His forum family is heartbroken to learn of his passing after fighting so hard to try to beat the beast we know as cancer! Brian will always live on in your hearts and his forum family will always remember him.

I didn't know Brian well. He was a member of the HL board I'm a member of. But his passing as with all I've sadly seen over the years have a profound effect on me. His isn't any different. He loved his family SO much. This monster takes the best people from us. But just know he IS on the other side and is watching over everyone of his family.

I am terribly saddened by the loss of Brian and I truly hope for peace for your family. I never had the pleasure of meeting him but in his words, you could tell how much he loved his family and how hard he was fighting. Rest in peace Brian.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Brian in person, but he posted on a Hodgkin's lymphoma forum that I visit. His love for his family, his students, and his Lord was very evident to all of us. He touched the lives of people all around the world. My condolences to all who knew and loved him, especially his wife and children.

I am a lymphoma patient in Pittsburgh. Brian was very helpful and supportive to me as I continue to fight this terrible disease. I want to offer my heartfelt condolences and tell you what a wonderful friend he was to me in the brief time I knew him. I'm so sorry.

Sampson Family may God comfort you in these most difficult times. I went to highschool with Brian and we played football togeather. He was a wonderful person and friend. Sending my thoughts and prayers. John Owens

Sampson Family: my deepest condolences to your family. Our family has know you all for many years. He was a great friend in youth group and in sports growing up. He will be welcomed in Heaven. It was a blessing to have known him.
