Brian C. Shearer

I recently learned of Brian's passing from a philanthropic newsletter from Washington and Lee. I was Brian's housemate for our fantastic senior year at W&L. So many fond memories came flooding back to me on hearing this sad news. I am proud of his success and lasting gift to old Washington and Lee.

Judy and Richard, I just learned of Brian's passing and am so sorry. You have my prayers and deepest condolences. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dear Judy and Richard, I get the Reporter on line and was so sorry to read of Brian´s untimely passing. I can´t imagine the stress you must have gone through the last year and how terrible it is to lose a child. Please know our thoughts are with you and that memories of his apparent interesting life/career will bring some peace in the midst of ongoing grief.
