My continued condolences to Ms. Swackhamer's family on the loss of Bridgett. I loved Bridgett Hanley - never met, but watched her on Here Comes the Brides, and just loved her. I was a member of her fan club! She sent a beautiful 8x10 b&w signed photo to me. I treasured this, as well as a booklet on how to be a lady. :) I may still have these. She signed her name with a saying that I can't get right today, but as a child, I treasured. Ms. Swackhamer was a good role model for young girls...

Hard to believe I first saw her a lifetime ago. I've remembered Here Come the Brides all my life, and I've remembered her. She was a talented, accomplished lady and I miss her.

I have fond memories of Here Come the Brides. It debuted when I was 7 and I have vivid memories of its early episodes. I've always remembered the show, especially because of Miss Hanley; Candy Pruitt was my first crush. It's like losing an old friend. Rest in Peace.

I never knew her but loved her to pieces. I was so saddened to hear this. She was pure class

Bridget was a wonderful person, so funny and full of light and love. We had many great times with her and Swack. Love to her family. There is another bright shining star in the sky now.
